Things you'll need
Adult Supervision​
  • Wing Patterns
  • Toilet Paper Rolls  (1 per bat)
  • Thin Cardboard (cereal or cracker box)
  • ​Pipe Cleaner
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Hot Glue Gun

  • Sharpie or
  • Acrylic Paint Supplies
    • Acrylic Paint
    • Paint Brush
    • Glass of Water
    • ​Dish/Paint Tray​

Step 1: Fold in ends of toilet paper roll as shown. This will create the legs and ears.

Step 2: Cutout larger wing pattern and trace onto cardboard. For the second wing, flip the pattern upside-down. Cut out wings.

Step 3: Paint or color toilet paper tube and wings black. Fold section of wing where pattern says 'fold'
Step 4: Cut two circles out of scrap paper for eyes. Fold toilet paper roll ends to form ears and legs.
Step 5: Place pipe cleaner in one end of tube as shown to the left.
Step 6: Hot glue pipe cleaner in place. Fold pipe cleaner in a loop, twist end of pipe cleaner around the 'ankle'. Fold the toes.

Step 8: Hang you new bat buddy somewhere fun!

Step 7: Hot glue wings on opposite sides of the tube. Glue eyes below ears. Color in pupils on eyes.
